A Call for a “3-Year Moratorium on Gun Violence"

The nation is experiencing and witnessing the proliferation of gun violence and an increasing number of mass shootings.

The nation was felt the pain these incidents brings without providing a clear way to assure society that we are in control to reducing the continued outbreak of mass shootings and homicide within our communities.

The slogan that was helped us throughout covid-19 “is “We are all in this Together”.

In the pandemic we have together provided workable solutions towards beating the Coronavirus as a nation.

It is with this thought in mind that I lay out a solution in part to bring about a more civil society of mutual respect, tolerance and togetherness as Americans.

A Call for a “3-Year Moratorium On Gun Violence” of every type to allow our country a time to heal from the death toll of mass shooting and the festering homicidal culture, which affects us all.

The call for a “3 Year Moratorium” is for television program producers, magazine publishers, commercial advertisers, radio broadcasters, digital media platforms and from cinema to the motion industry should help foster a “Step Down Attitude” as it relates to the use of weapons as the ultimate solution.

Whether the plots feature good versus evil or evil trying to undermine the good this “3-year Moratorium on Gun Violence” can be a teachable moment and time of healing.

Isaiah 2: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more.

If the Alcohol Industry could “Stand Down” and the Tobacco Industry could “Stand Down”; from advertising then why should not the media industries.

In the real world “Every Life Matters” and production houses and theater has an awesome opportunity to help turn the tide from mass killing to mass kindness and from using guns to using our gifts to bring about change.

There is a growing need to assess to arcadia industry to solicit meaningful re-imagining designs and theme of violent games content.

Yes We Can, Together!
